Company Summary

About Cramer-Krasselt Cramer-Krasselt is one of the largest independent agencies with over $500 million in billing and 74% of our revenue from digital and social. More than integrated, we are totally interconnected to optimize and synergize every marketing communication effort for maximum impact. With a mission to Make Friends, Not Ads®, C-K has built a reputation for changing perceptions and behaviors that significantly move the purchase needle. It’s how we helped Porsche achieve 11 years of consecutive record-breaking sales, how Corona continues to be one of the top imports, how Pacifico grew 19% to become the ninth largest selling beer in just two years and how Tropicana broke all PepsiCo brand testing records, just to name a few. We have done it by a very different organizational structure, interconnecting an ever-expanding range of disciplines from strategic branding to digital, social, analytics, media/programmatic, e-commerce, SEM, PR, UX, influencer and more. Major brands include Alzheimer’s Association, Cedar Fair (Knott’s Berry Farm, Cedar Point and 13 additional properties), Cintas, Corona Extra, Pacifico, Porsche, Spirit Airlines, Cat’s Pride, Naked and Tropicana. www.c-k.com

Betsy Brown
Executive Vice, President General Manager
Betsy hires good people. Really good people. And she firmly believes that if you empower good people to do their jobs, well guess what, they’ll never let you down and they’ll almost always over deliver. And so now she has an office full of overachievers. She also counts herself as one.

During her 20 years at Cramer-Krasselt, Betsy has established a reputation for consumer insights and an ability to form strategic partnerships with clients. She views her role as being part of the client’s brand-building team and commits herself to understanding both the brand and its marketing environment.

As part of the senior management team, Betsy is uniquely positioned to deliver on C-K’s media-neutral philosophy of brand building. She can draw across all of the agency’s disciplines to find the best possible combination of services and talent to meet a client’s marketing challenges.

Through Betsy’s expansive experience working on brands in the home/hardware and package goods categories, she has gotten to know the female target well. She understands what makes moms tick. Being a mom herself also gives her valuable insight.

An active member of the community, Betsy believes in giving back. In her tenure at C-K, the agency has worked on numerous pro-bono accounts, from the Wisconsin Humane Society to Penfield Children’s Center and the Milwaukee Police Department, to name a few. Betsy also serves on the board of the Sojourner Family Peace Center and the Penfield Children’s Center.

Several of Betsy’s proudest moments at the agency include being nominated as one of the Best Places to Work by the Milwaukee Journal and receiving the Milwaukee Crime Prevention Award for the agency’s Milwaukee Police Department work. At home she’s just happy when she can put together the latest Lego creations for her two sons.
