I am both fiercely competitive and “Minnesota nice.” I lead Team One in its mission to curate irreplaceable experiences, build enduring brand connections, and elevate luxury and premium brands to become one-of-one. Amid a shifting cultural landscape where affluents now value High Life Worth over High Net Worth, I embrace change, protecting pricing power and shifting market share for clients. I embrace my Team One role as an architect of aspiration, leading to dozens of integrated marketing programs for modern brands, from launching the car-of-the-future with Steven Spielberg to giving affluents permission to fly private jets again.
Most importantly, I am incredibly proud of Team One winning Ad Age Best Places to Work in 2026 and of our enduring partnerships with clients whom we call true partners.

Chief Creative Officer
I oversee all aspects of brand world building and storytelling for some of the world's premiere one of one brands. My global responsibilities also include serving for more than 10 years as a member of the Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide Creative Board. Under my leadership, Team One continues its mission to reimagine how brands show up in the world in the emerging platforms, while translating human insights into modern brand expressions.
With a career spanning over two decades, my work has been recognized by nearly every significant creative competition. I started my career in New York working for Ogilvy & Mather and TBWA/Chiat/Day, before returning home to my Southern California roots, where I currently live with my wife and three children.
When not at the office, my interests include documentaries, small-batch bourbon and woodworking to build beautiful furniture.

Since joining the agency, I have helped grow the Team One’s Strategic Planning function from a small talented group of thinkers to a large, diverse and highly awarded team of strategic analysts and brand strategists. Today, the agency’s Strategic Planning Department has deep expertise in the areas of brand architecture, consumer behavior, customer relationship management, consumer journey mapping, social/mobile/digital strategy, business strategy and research. Clients apply our team’s talents not only toward providing effective advertising solutions, but also toward developing inspired marketing plans, improving product design and elevating their service approaches. As distinct from many other agencies’ strategy departments, our group has long been integrated into the creative and media departments, helping to make sure that Team One’s critical thinking is not just conceptual, but is actually applied in constantly interesting ways.
Over the course of my career, I have worked at small, mid-sized and large agencies, on a diverse group of regional, national and global brands, in a wide range of categories including automotive, beauty, beverage, consumer electronics, consumer packaged goods, fashion, financial services, gaming, hospitality, luxury, not-for-profit, pharmaceuticals, retail, sports, technology, telecommunications and travel.
I am the founder of The Legacy Lab, Team One’s thought‑leadership and research platform on brand longevity, and the co‑author of Legacy in the Making, an award‑winning book examining how enduring brands balance heritage with reinvention. I am a frequent contributor to industry conversations through publications, interviews, and academic‑style forums on the future of luxury and modern brand building.
I am originally from Toronto, but Los Angeles and Team One have been my second home for many years and counting.
