Company Summary
Wunderman's background: Since 1958, Wunderman has created impactful conversations between our clients and their customers. Listening has been at the core of every campaign and vital to success. We believe that strong, lifelong, profitable customer conversations result from getting the right people talking, in the right way, at the right time. We constantly look for deep customer insights and new and better ways to create these conversations. Wunderman is the largest organically grown marketing services network in the world. Our global network spans 130+ offices in 55 countries. We have an enviable roster of blue chip clients and expertise across every channel and discipline. In the U.S and around the world, Wunderman consistently ranks in the Top 10 Direct and Digital agency lists. Forrester Research acknowledges the depth of our capabilities. We have deep direct-response creative expertise across myriad channels—DRTV, DR print, direct mail, e-mail, and online marketing—and we possess the proprietary tools to measure and harness the power of social media to connect with your customers. Our actions range from building sophisticated acquisition and life-cycle retention communications, to direct response lead-generation, and to deep loyalty actions. We offer perspective. In today’s economic climate, value is the core story or protective gear used to weather the storm; but what’s next? We have the planning tools and talented people to drill down deep to find the path that will take your brand from what it is today to reaching its full potential. It takes a deep understanding of your customer, and a brilliant strategy to do this. We’d love to do this for you and show how our thinking can be penetrating across all mediums. Ownership and basic structure: Wunderman LLC is part of Young & Rubicam Brands, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the WPP group PLC. WPP is a public company listed on NASDAQ (symbol: WPPGY) in the U.S. as well as on the London Stock Exchange (WPP).

Daniel Olson
Managing Director, Western Region
A seasoned marketer with over 23 years of experience, Dan oversees Wunderman Western Region's strategic development and execution, as well as other services. He brings a proven track record of creating marketing initiatives that focus on results for our clients, improving sales and maximizing ROI, and is a driving force in the agency’s culture of total marketing solutions that drive business results online and offline, both above- and below-the-line. Prior to coming to Wunderman, Dan was at Choicepoint Direct, then the world’s fourth-largest database marketing company, where he managed the West Coast office and served clients such as Citibank, Washington Mutual, Esurance, and Lucky Supermarkets. During his early career, Dan owned and managed a small boutique agency with offices in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Clients included Bank of America, Warner Lambert, Johnson & Johnson, and Paramount Great America Parks.
Anthony Di Biase
EVP, Executive Creative Director
Anthony brings a depth of experience across multiple disciplines to bear upon the agency’s fully collaborative approach to creative. As Executive Creative Director, he oversees the creative operations for Wunderman Western Region. His role brings a new communications model to the forefront, combining the creative leadership practices of multiple disciplines into one united front. Prior to the development of the current integrated offering, Anthony was Creative Director of Wunderman Southern California, overseeing the Taco Bell and ARCO am/pm work for five years. Before moving to California, Anthony was the Creative Director of Wunderman Toronto, where he developed award-winning work for Sony, Burger King, am/pm, and Ferrero Rocher. Having started his career in general advertising at several of Canada’s top creative boutiques, Anthony has developed a “creative objectivity” which is reflected in the work and the culture of the agency. Building brands and driving consumer action is a tougher challenge than accomplishing either separately. For Anthony and his team, it’s also more rewarding.

John Capano
Director of Digital Strategy
John’s road to Wunderman has been long and winding. Upon graduating from Drew University with a degree in economics and political science, he embarked on a career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch & Co., eventually joining Mabon Securities, where he worked in the chairman’s office on global technology initiatives and ran a joint venture with Goldman Sachs. Growing bored of the numbers game, John took off for Hollywood, where he joined the William Morris Agency as a mailroom clerk, eventually rising to agent in television and new media. John’s passion for emerging technologies and their effect on business eventually led him to found his own agency, Mead, Coen & Pure. There, he advised such global brands as Pepsi, Visa, General Motors, Anheuser-Busch, and Coty Beauty on emerging technology and entertainment strategy. After selling the agency, John joined brand strategy firm RiechesBaird, in Irvine, California, as the head of digital strategy, working with such clients as Toyota, Sharp Electronics, Samsung, and Carpenter Co. That’s where we found him. In the 15+ years he’s lived the digital life, John has developed and implemented interactive work for clients such as DirecTV, Boost Mobile, General Mills, General Motors, Coca-Cola, Sony, Coty Beauty, Intel, PepsiCo., Volvo, and Motorola. John strongly believes that if you know what the magician knows, it’s not magic anymore.
