Overview
Company Summary
While other agencies scramble to reverse engineer themselves for the age of collaboration, AFG& was born with collaboration at its core. We started life as a small, street-smart collective called Avrett Free Ginsberg, which became an icon of the original New York creative revolution by realizing that the more voices we could include in this thing, the louder we could shout. Today, AFG& is an ultimate partnership between our people, our clients, and our media and production partners. While the rest of the industry plays catch-up, we're leaping forward with technologies and partnerships that every day move all of us faster to smarter and better solutions. Collaboration isn't just a promise on a PowerPoint slide here. It's real here. It works here. Welcome to AFG&.

Frank Ginsberg
Founder,Chairman and CEO
Entrepreneur. Icon. Legend. Artistic Director…all these apply when it comes to Frank Ginsberg. But the title he’s most comfortable with is the one he started with: Art Director. His singular style, distinguished by its differentiating power, has helped build brands like Purina Cat Chow, U.S. Trust, Financial Times, Thomson Reuters, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Bacardi Rums and Van Cleef & Arpels. And that’s just naming a few. His passion for ideas is deep and infectious. Come see the view at AFG& and you’ll feel it too.
Dawn Terrazas
President, N.A. & Latam
A little Texas Hill Country, a little Uptown NYC, Dawn brings both grit and elegance. She is an action-oriented brand leader and strategic advisor to global brands, always out ahead of category trends. She has proven success in launching new products as well as helping to grow billion-dollar brands. Dawn cut her teeth at big global networks like Y&R and McCann Erickson, for clients like Colgate-Palmolive, P&G, Capital One, and Mastercard. She currently serves as New Business Lead and heads up AFGNorth America and AFGLatAm.
Amy Adams
President, Europe & Asia-Pacific
How do we do this differently? How do we do it better? Why isn’t anyone responding to my midnight e-mails? Every day and most nights, Amy’s inexhaustible energy and incisive ideas help make AFG& a smarter, more invaluable partner for our clients. Also, she has this superhuman ability to thrive on very little sleep. Which uniquely qualifies her to head up AFGEurope and AFGAsia. Headquartered in London and working across time zones, Amy spearheads the agency’s efforts around the globe.
Joe Petruccio
Co-Chief Creative Director
In advertising today, there are still some creative directors who give you ideas instead of jargon. Who teach teams how to be better creatives and better people. Who take a client’s business as seriously as if it were their own. Joe’s one of those guys. A gifted artist and social commentator, Joe is also the official artist of Elvis Presley Enterprises and the Muhammad Ali Estate. He also maintains highly followed sports blogs chronicling the misfortunes of the Mets and the Jets.
Gib Marquardt
Co-Chief Creative Officer
Gib, as in “BIG” spelled backwards. Big thinker. Big brand-builder. Big heart. Also, a big-time believer in the power of words and ideas to shape and transform brands. Gib started his career at JWT Chicago, creating award-winning work for clients ranging from Kellogg’s Cereals to Miller Beer to Motorola Flip Phones. At McCann New York he helped usher in a new era of creative focus for Mastercard, Lucent Technologies, United Way, and AT&T. At AFG&, his wit and warmth can be felt across the agency portfolio.
Yücel Erdogan
Co-Chief Creative Officer
What do you call an accomplished artist/critically acclaimed photographer/director/award-winning art director? At AFG&, we call him Yücel. Mr. Erdogan began his career at Publicis for Max Factor. He joined AFG& in 1999, winning and developing ground breaking work for Bacardi, Tumi, Sally Hansen, Fortunoff, St. Regis, and Carrera y Carrera. After a brief stint partnering with Sean “P Diddy” Combs to help catapult CIROC vodka to the fastest-growing spirit in the world, Yücel returned to AFG& in 2015. We’re richer for it.
