Before becoming the CEO, Katy held the CCO role at BarkleyOKRP for five years--leading all creative, video, content, design and production across the agency—allowing her to have a full perspective on how to build modern brands.

Demian is a data trailblazer with 20+ years of experience turning numbers into narratives that drive business results. Now at MissionOne Media as Chief Analytics & Data Officer, he’s leading the charge to bring full-funnel measurement and transparency to the forefront of modern media.
Before that, he built global analytics capabilities at Mediahub, pioneered revenue-generating data solutions at The Martin Agency, and redefined media strategy for brands like Harley-Davidson, Citibank, and HealthPartners. A master of media mix modeling, attribution, and cutting through data chaos, he’s racked up Webby Awards, Cannes Lions, and One Show Pencils along the way.

Chris Cardetti is the Chief Strategy Officer at BarkleyOKRP, where over the past decade, he’s built the strategy, intelligence, and communications planning disciplines to be the art and science behind Barkley’s model for whole brand-building. Over the course of his career, Chris has spread his signature brand of journalistic, “no handoffs” strategy to every department, category, and brand he’s teamed up with.
He’s led a series of business-transforming, brand revitalization efforts for Dairy Queen, Motel 6, Russell Athletic, and Smoothie King. He's tapped into the power of purpose and culture with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and March of Dimes. And his team’s style of action-first insights and strategy helped Planet Fitness and AMC re-emerge from COVID stronger than ever. His awards include Effies, Reggies, Cannes Lions, Shortys, and Clios, and he's a proud member of the 4A’s Strategy Committee.
His strategy team is responsible for upstream consulting and the in-depth qualitative and quantitative research BarkleyOKRP Strategy has become known for across category verticals. Chris has also led BarkleyOKRP’s thought leadership practice, which is designed to understand the modern consumer more than any other agency.
A dad of three, Chris resides in Kansas City, spending his spare time coaching, chauffeuring, and making sure the snack drawer is full.

Dan Fromm has had two careers. He started as a writer and producer in newspapers and television, ultimately working for ESPN as a feature producer. His second career has been in marketing. He started his own sponsorship and events agency and then worked for BarkleyOKRP in several different roles on the account and operations side of the business. Dan is passionate about collaboration and creativity and uses both to solve business challenges for clients and unlock growth opportunities.
Outside of work, Dan has served on both for-profit and not-for-profit boards. He is the Board Chair of the KC Action Fund, a 501 (c) (4) focused on helping drive student outcomes in Kansas City area schools. He also sits on the Board of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art.

Jeff King started his career as an intern at BarkleyOKRP, and although he made a few stops along the way, he spent most of his career here. Named CEO in 2009, he helped assemble the current leadership team, transforming this six-plus-decades-old agency into a distinguished authority on building whole brands for modern consumers. In May 2025, Jeff scaled back his role and transitioned to one of the Founding partners as Katy Hornaday became CEO.
Under Jeff’s leadership, BarkleyOKRP earned the rare distinction of becoming a Certified B Corporation — a designation that occurred during the most rapid growth in company history. In 2025, the agency was named an A-List Agency Standout by AdAge for the third time in the past six years. It was also named Independent Agency of the Year in 2021 by the 4As Foundation, specifically for the agency’s work in building a more diverse and inclusive culture.
In addition to his responsibilities at BarkleyOKRP, Jeff serves on the National Board of The BrandLab, a nonprofit dedicated to preparing high school students of all races and socioeconomic backgrounds for careers in advertising. He is active in Young Presidents’ Organization, where he has served in the past as Chapter Chairman and on the Western Regional Board. He also serves on the National Board of the 4As and is Board President Emeritus for Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City.
