Women, Work, and the Invisible Force that’s Undermining Them as They Rise
The Li.st, Berlin Cameron, and Benenson Strategy Group partnered on research to find the hidden costs of loneliness for women at work.
Key research findings:
- The majority of women feel unsupported, lonely, and isolated at work.
- For women of color, the feelings of isolation are compounded by a lack of respect.
- Women are burnt out, stressed, and overwhelmed from the combined responsibilities of work and home.
The report finds the solution for women’s feelings of loneliness at work are community and mentorship. This isn’t always supported in the workplace, so women are building their own communities, networks, and advisors.
