A seasoned federal lobbyist and grassroots advocacy professional, Amanda collaborates with external stakeholders and government officials to advance the public policy goals of 4A’s members. Her experience includes tenures at McGuireWoods Consulting, DDC Public Affairs, and Peloton Technology. Residing in the DC suburbs, Amanda is a William & Mary alumna, diehard Chicago Cubs fan, and avid house plant enthusiast.

I am originally from Togo and I have been living in Charlotte since 2007. I have joined the 4As Benefits team last year before the pandemic and have been working with the retirement fund team. Lisa joined the 4A’s in May, 2017. She has made her career as an Executive Assistant bringing over 30 years of experience to her role with the majority of her career spent working in film production and media–with a few movie credits to her name. Most of Nadine’s professional career has been connected to the 4A’s. First as a librarian at JWT (a 4A’s member), then joining the Research Services staff of this association. Barry Broxterman is part of 4A’s Benefits, managing the 4A’s Workers Compensation Captive and other insurance plans. Always having a desire from a very young age to take something apart to understand how it works or how it was put together, there has never been a project deemed too big or too difficult to take on.

Chick Foxgrover focuses on the creative, technology and innovation communities in advertising. He reports on advanced digital marketing, technology trends and has spoken at major technology conferences such as CES and SXSW. Chick founded the 4A’s CX Council, an industry leadership forum dedicated to the transformation of brand management and the convergence of experience design, communications arts and technology.

Vicky joined the 4A’s in 2021 as a member of the Professional & Organizational Development team. Prior to this, she created and facilitated training programs across the US for multiple industries, like government and higher ed. Marla joined the 4A’s in 2017 after 30 years in advertising and media agencies focusing on her passion for the industry. From 2011 to 2017, she was CEO of MEC NorthAmerica. Marla was recognized in 2012 by Ad Age as a Woman to Watch and was honored in 2016 with a Distinguished Citizen Award by The John A. Reisenbach Foundation.

Started out as software support specialist in a call center here in Charlotte. It was there that I was able to move formally into IT. From there I came to AAAA Benefits in 2003 as desktop support/systems tech and eventually became the IT Manager.

In addition to leading corporate training teams in multiple sectors, he has taught courses in the arts and humanities for the School of the New York Times, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, and the City University of New York.

At the 4A’s, Carly helps drive the marketing communications strategy for the organization, working closely with 4A’s practice leads to ensure members have what they need to compete. Prior to the 4A’s Aaron worked at an emerging start-up called SportsRecruits where he oversaw and executed 50+ events a year. Aaron continued his career at Blue Buffalo managing their mobile event marketing and sponsorship program.
