Considering the changing landscape of our industry in the face of the global pandemic, 4A’s gathered information to aid in understanding the current state, as well as the expectations, of the ever changing organizational design structure of our member agencies. We have crafted this survey on Organizational Design in order to gain insights that will enable 4A’s members to compare and contrast how agencies are structured and to collect their information on how they are planning to ensure success over the next 12-24 months.
A well-conceived Organizational Design structure is fundamental to the success of any organization. Organizations with a strong foundation in their design structure provide the means that allow for improved communications, increased productivity, and inspires innovation among their employees. It creates an environment where people can work effectively and be their most productive.
In contrast, poor organizational design often results in confusion within roles, a lack of coordination among functions, and failure to share ideas. It is not enough to have a clear company mission, talented people, and great leaders. To be effective, the overall organization design must be aligned with the business strategy and the market environment in which the business operates.
No matter what stage of the organizational life cycle your organization is in (Birth, Youth, Mid-life, or Maturity) these insights will provide guidelines that will be imperative to your success.
