Carina is the Chief Operating Officer of Ogilvy North America, responsible for overseeing the region’s business growth, working collaboratively across client relationships, creative product and workplace culture to drive a directional vision for the agency with agility at its core. Her role spans Ogilvy’s North America offices, including New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Denver, and Toronto.

A 20-plus year industry veteran, Carina has built her career as a trusted partner who’s driven by the belief that brands must move from treating revenue problems with tactics to solving business challenges with brand experiences that change the way customers think, act, and feel. She has helped bring in new client business and worked on award-winning campaigns for some of the most celebrated companies in the world—including Nestle, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, IKEA, Samsung and most recently Chobani.

Prior to becoming COO, Carina served as President of Ogilvy New York, helping clients solve their challenges with creativity and ingenuity, while building an open and inclusive people-first environment for employees—a hallmark of her leadership through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Carina has also served as Chief Client Officer for Ogilvy New York, a role in which she developed grew the agency’s client portfolio, after having joined the agency in 2013 as global client lead for IBM, where she helped modernize the brand with first-of-its-kind marketing with Watson and AI.

Carina is an executive sponsor of the Ogilvy Residency, the agency’s early career accelerator program designed to cultivate the next generation of high-performing, diverse and innovative thought leaders, and of The Brotherhood program, created to foster a more inclusive and supportive workplace by retaining and advancing Black male employees. She is also a member of the WPP Women in Leadership team, and is active across agency and industry forums and communities.
