I’m Christian Banach, Founder and Chief Growth Officer of NextBigWin—an access and intelligence platform built to help agencies identify opportunities earlier and win bigger client engagements.
I started my first business while still in high school, launching a concert promotion and experiential marketing company that grew into a $10M operation producing more than 300 events a year. We worked with artists like Lady Gaga and Pitbull and delivered brand experiences for Disney, Toyota, and Anheuser-Busch.
Then the 2008 recession hit. Like many agencies, we had grown on referrals, and when demand slowed, the pipeline disappeared. That experience forced me to get serious about business development: how agencies position themselves, how buyers actually make decisions, and why timing matters more than volume.
I eventually sold the company and spent the next decade leading new business and growth programs for independent and holdco agencies, contributing to tens of millions of dollars in opportunities and wins with brands like Netflix, Kohl’s, Heineken, Autodesk, and Constellation Brands.
During the pandemic, I saw the same pattern repeat itself: agencies losing clients, competing late, and relying on RFPs to survive. This time, I knew there was a better way.
I founded NextBigWin around what actually works today: intelligence, context, and executive access. We help agencies spot buying signals earlier, such as CMO changes, M&A, funding, internal shifts, and pair that intelligence with curated peer-level roundtable discussions that build trust before formal searches begin. I also host the CMO Journeys interview series and advise agencies through the 4A’s Expert Network on modern, signal-driven growth strategies.
