Joel is the Global CEO of PMX, Publicis Groupe’s central investment practice, responsible for the smart application of investment by leveraging scale, marketplace innovation, deeper partnerships and intelligence. He is also responsible for Influential, the world’s largest creator marketing platform, as well as Publicis Sports.

Joel has previously served as the Vice President of Global Brand Strategy at Twitter, responsible for Twitter’s consumer brand and B2B marketing, revenue strategy, and partnerships across entertainment, brands, and media. He was at Twitter pre-revenue to post IPO, leading a Global Brand Strategy team spanning 30 countries where he was responsible for growing the business from zero to $2.4B in revenue in just a handful of years.

Prior to Twitter, Joel was one of the first employees, Media Director and eventual CEO of Moxie, recognized as a top 10 digital agency, and acquired by Publicis, one of the world’s largest media holding companies. As CEO, He also served as Chief Digital Officer for Zenith and Optimedia. In his time at Moxie, Joel led engagements with world-class brands such as Verizon Wireless, L’Oreal, Twentieth Century Fox, Coca-Cola, HP, and many others.

In recognition of his career achievements and impact on the industry, Joel was inducted into the AAF’s Advertising Hall of Achievement in 2015. He’s won many of the top awards in the advertising industry for his breakthrough creative approach, including a Grand Prix Cannes Lion for his work at Twitter.

Joel also cares deeply about giving back to society. In 2014 he co-founded a nonprofit — The Guardian Project www.guardiangym.org. The Guardian Project is a global program providing free jiu-jitsu to at-risk youth building community and self-esteem through martial arts.
