New York, NY – December 8, 2015 – Posterscope USA, a leading Out-of-Home communications specialist, has completed a multi-faceted Out-of-Home campaign supporting Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in LA, a month of 60 can’t miss artists in venues throughout Los Angeles. Posterscope’s capabilities were tapped as part of a broader marketing effort designed to raise awareness of the concerts and artists, drive fan engagement and show Red Bull’s support for up and coming artists.
“We were excited to work with Red Bull and our partners to design and bring to life the Out-of-Home elements of 30 Days in LA,” said Jeff Tan, VP Strategy Posterscope. “More than half of the overall campaign spend was directed towards Out-of-Home; a great validation and recognition of OOH’s power and ability to reach consumers as they live their daily lives. Young Music Enthusiasts are typically hard to pin down, and we worked closely Red Bull to utilize data and consumer insights to develop an Out-of-Home strategy that resonated with our audience”.
Posterscope’s OOH plan for Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in LA comprised a range of elements including billboards, transit shelters, hand-painted murals and more. In planning, Posterscope leveraged the company’s proprietary Outdoor Consumer Survey to help identify the locations where Red Bull’s target audience of young Music Enthusiasts spends their time out of home. Media was then placed in geographic areas in the LA areas where Music Enthusiasts and key industry influencers are known to be located and focused on main arteries heading toward music venue areas.
The campaign launched on September 9 and ran through the conclusion of the concert series at the end of the November.
