Deloitte’s annual holiday retail survey focuses on consumer spending, preferences, and timing. Key findings include:
- Those with higher incomes will be responsible for the majority of holiday spending. Their shopping drivers and preferences are featured.
- Shopping channel preferences and importance of sustainable products and packaging to young generations.
- Black Friday and Cyber Monday are still popular shopping events, but about a quarter will shop during October sales events.
