This 2023 4A’s survey report offers insights into salary increases paid to employees across all size member agencies. The data was collected between October and November of 2023, aiming to provide members with reliable and industry-relevant information on salary increase information for 2023 and planned salary increases for 2024. Additionally, the report provides comparisons where applicable, utilizing prior year(s) data.
All 4A’s member agencies were invited to participate in the survey, resulting in submissions of 130 agencies across 184 agency offices. Among the respondents, 38% (70) represented network agency (holding company) members, while 62% (114) were independent agencies.

- Time intervals between increases at various salary levels
- Market conditions driving elevated compensation levels for new hires
- Percentage ranges of actual 2023 salary increases
- Planned percentage range increases for 2024
