Shari Day
President/CEO
An advertising industry veteran, Shari Day joined the agency in 2010 and was named president/CEO in 2015 and acquired majority ownership in 2022. Under her leadership, Shari guided the bold rebranding which resulted in a new name and new look. Artists&Outlaws reflects Shari’s own creative expertise and her boundary-breaking approach. She truly embodies the agency’s tagline—we make our own way, but we get there together. A significant portion of Shari’s time is spent forward-looking, identifying growth opportunities and strategizing with senior leadership to expand the agency’s industry footprint. Simultaneously, she contributes to client meetings, participates in new business pitches and celebrates team successes, all while fostering a work/life-balanced culture.

Her career path is proof of “earn it, don’t expect it.” Shari is proud to be among the growing minority of female ad agency CEOs. She is a board member for the American Association of Advertising Agencies, the industry’s leading trade organization. Shari represents the Southern region, and her advocacy plays an active role in shaping and supporting the organization’s initiatives, helping to guide and advance the advertising and marketing communications community. Her 37-year career includes work with a broad range of clients including Ascension Saint Thomas Health, Dollar General, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Pigeon Forge (Tennessee) Tourism, Sea Ray Boats, Azimut Yachts and Boston Whaler.
