Session Outline
5 Live Workshops
Session 1: From Silos to Systems
- Seeing the System Behind the Problem - Organizational challenges rarely exist in isolation. Leaders need to look beyond individual events and understand the patterns, structures, and assumptions that shape how people and work interact. This session introduces a systems-thinking mindset that helps leaders see organizational challenges differently before jumping to solutions.
Session 2: Diagnosing Problems
- Solving the Right Problem - Leaders often move quickly from a problem to a solution—particularly when something goes wrong. This session develops the discipline to pause, challenge assumptions, and diagnose what is actually creating the problem before deciding what needs to change.
- Participants explore how easily leaders can jump to accountability, conflict, communication, or other familiar explanations without understanding what is happening underneath.
Session 3: How work actually happens
- Making the Invisible Visible - Improvement begins with understanding how work actually flows and not how we assume it flows. Participants examine the movement of work across teams and functions to identify handoffs, dependencies, bottlenecks, rework, and organizational friction. They also explore how competing priorities and local optimization can affect the broader system.
Session 4: Accountability
- Leading Across Boundaries - Better processes only work when people understand their role in maintaining them. This session examines accountability as a shared, system-wide responsibility—not simply assigning blame when something goes wrong. Participants develop the skills to create clarity, navigate difficult conversations, and influence across functions, including when they don't have formal authority.
Session 5: Leading Change
- Turning Insight Into Sustainable Improvement - Identifying the right problem and designing a better way of working is only the beginning. Leaders must also help people and organizations move toward something new. This session brings the learning together and focuses on leading change across organizational boundaries—building alignment, navigating resistance, creating momentum, and sustaining improvement.
