Zach Rosenberg
Zach launched his consultancy in 2019, advising brands on agency search and helping media and creative agencies drive business development, leveraging decades of relationships and industry perspective. He began his career 45 years ago in account management at JWT, DDB, and Chiat/Day. While at Chiat/Day, he was selected for Jay Chiat’s “Agency of the Future” task force, helping pioneer the virtual office concept. Recognizing the rise of media specialization, Zach joined Western Media (now Initiative) in 1995, leading the Walt Disney Company business across multiple divisions. In 2000, he moved to Horizon Media as EVP/GM of the West Coast, later becoming Chief Growth Officer, helping scale the agency into the largest privately held media services firm globally. His experience spans entertainment, retail, healthcare, gaming, restaurants, insurance, and CPG. Zach was named ThinkLA’s “Leader of the Year” in 2009 and has served on the ThinkLA board for 25+ years. Zach is a frequent contributor to major trade publications, including Adweek and MediaPost, a panel moderator for industry organizations, and a final-round judge for the Effie Awards. He is a graduate of Pepperdine University and a regular guest speaker in its advertising and marketing programs.
