Chris Meyer is the CEO of Project, an employee-owned alliance of 13 diverse creative agencies with more than 2,300 employees across 42 markets. Since stepping into the role in 2024, Meyer has doubled down on diversifying the Project network by appointing new leadership across global markets, overseeing the acquisition of design and creative agency Cresci’s, and integrating agencies together for more cohesive, impactful work. His vision for continued success focuses on championing client partnerships, cross-agency collaboration, the enduring impact of experiential marketing, and the power of human-led AI.

Before taking the helm at Project, Meyer served as the long-standing CEO of Project agency George P. Johnson (GPJ), where he transformed the 100+-year-old experiential powerhouse into a modern, innovation-driven global leader. Beginning in 2013, he ushered in a new era of creativity, strategy, and digital excellence that fueled consistent year-over-year growth and established GPJ as the home of the industry’s foremost experts. Under Meyer’s leadership, the agency built strong long-term relationships with global brands like Charles Schwab, Cisco, DP World, Google, Honda, IBM, Nissan, Salesforce, Stellantis, Workday, and many others.

Committed to sharing his expertise beyond the agency world, Meyer frequently guest lectures on marketing at leading universities, including his alma mater, Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. Outside of work, he’s an avid traveler, skier, and boater who enjoys adventure with his wife and two children. His guiding philosophy: success is never the work of one person alone.
