MAIP (/noun/ ‘MAY-p/)

Looking to shake up the Advertising/Marketing industry? We’re looking for trailblazers like YOU!

The 4As Foundation’s MAIP Program is a highly intensive fellowship that provides students with the opportunity to work in the advertising, communications and marketing industries. MAIP fellows interact with industry professionals on a day-to-day basis to gain valuable professional ​experience. Students selected for the MAIP fellowship program will hone their skills in a variety of advertising/marketing disciplines. ​Throughout the MAIP experience, MAIP Fellows will:

Participate in a 18-week internship program

Complete up to 8 weeks virtual training series prior to the internship, designed to prepare fellows for the industry

Engage in a 10 week PAID internship with one of the 4A’s Foundation’s partner organizations

Attend live, virtual professional development sessions (based in the Eastern Standard Time Zone)

Work 1:1 with a MAIP Coach, an industry professional volunteering their time to support a fellow’s professional and personal development

Who can apply to MAIP?

The 4As Foundation welcomes all applicants who meet the following criteria:

Demonstrate a passion to kick-start a career in advertising and marketing through application essays and within the interview

Are eligible to work in the U.S., by way of student work visas and/or are citizens of the U.S.

Have a GPA of 3.0

  • Students with a <3.0 GPA may submit an additional statement with additional context

Are within the following academic year:

  • Undergraduate college senior graduating in Fall/Winter 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026
  • Undergraduate college junior graduating in Spring/Summer 2027
  • Graduate student currently pursuing additional education in a specific field
  • And/or are a student attending a participating 4As portfolio school at the time of application*

Are available to participate in the full duration of the 18-week fellowship period, and work as an intern from June through August 2026, with no pre-planned time off

*Students on the quarter system must arrange early release with their academic department before applying, as the fellowship kicks off in June
