Colle McVoy Promotes Top Leaders to Media & Data Science Practice

 

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 22, 2021 — Today Colle McVoy announced the promotion of two leaders to its media & data science practice. Steve Knapp (formerly executive director of media) has been promoted to the new role of managing director, media & data science.

Kim Dunn (formerly group media director) has been elevated to senior vice president, media & data science. Knapp and Dunn have been instrumental in integrating the media and data science specialties at the agency to bring data-led, creative media solutions to clients. As a result, media billings have tripled at the agency in the last five years through its work with clients like 3M, Children’s Health and AccuWeather, as well as helped the agency welcome more than a dozen new clients over the last 18 months.

Knapp, who joined Colle McVoy in 2016, has led media intelligence, strategy and investment initiatives across paid, owned and earned channels with an approach that focuses on innovation and creativity. With this data science integration, he now oversees a team with expanded expertise across performance marketing and predictive outcomes to further bolster the agency’s creative-driven media vision.

Since joining the agency in 2019, Dunn led media efforts on key client accounts like 3M, Land O’Lakes, Medtronic, Deluxe and Zoetis. She will now oversee media strategy for all clients while playing a lead role in activating and evolving the agency’s media & data science practice.

Rounding out the practice expertise are Dan Mandle, SVP, data science, who manages omnichannel analytics across all clients; as well as Greg Jones, VP, director of digital media investments who is responsible for leading programmatic, paid social and paid search campaigns across the agency. The practice has also hired 10 new employees already in 2021.
