4A’s Chicago IAAS 2024

Registration is now open for this Spring’s Chicago Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies!

50 Year Legacy: Training Chicago’s Agency Rising Stars

The 4A’s Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies (IAAS) offers a unique opportunity for Rising Stars from all agency disciplines – selected by their agency leadership — to gather for an accelerated experience that will enable them to learn from industry leaders and to apply that learning to a real-world assignment.

Intentionally we were on a hiatus in 2022 which afforded us the opportunity to recalibrate the curriculum and apply learnings for this year’s program.  This will be a phenomenal hybrid program launching in the Spring, and running from March–June.  Joining us again as Program Director is Deborah Gray-Young. We are beyond thrilled to have Deborah Gray-Young with us again to make this cohort a well-rewarding experience for the participants!

How does it work?

The IAAS is an intense, ten-week training course that uses a “new business pitch” format to provide students unique opportunities to develop/refine their skills in four key areas: Teamwork/Collaboration, Presenting/Selling Ideas, Managing Client Relationships and the IMC Process: from Insight to Execution. The teams will work with real clients to develop their skills and gain practical experience.

Who should attend?

Designed for promising agency professionals across all disciplines – creative, media, research, strategy, account management, public relations, direct marketing digital, social, and analytics – IAAS can help accelerate their careers, sharpen necessary hard and soft skills, and provide new perspectives that will shape their outlook for years to come.

Course Timeline:

The program launches Wednesday, April 3rd, and will conclude with a final presentation on May 22nd. The group meets weekly via hybrid setting from 6:00 to 8 PM Central time and at other times of the respective pitch team’s choice to prepare for presentations and the final pitch.
