Ad Age and Modern Healthcare Name StoneArch Agency of the Year

Nov 14, 2017 — Health marketing agency StoneArch was named Agency of the Year at the 2017 Healthcare Marketing IMPACT Awards, sponsored by Modern Healthcare and Ad Age. The agency was noted for its versatility after earning Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in two categories for three different clients.

The agency’s work for Veran Medical Technologies won Gold for Website Campaign of the Year. Campaigns for Medela Sonata and One Heartland won Silver and Bronze awards, respectively, for Integrated Campaign of the Year.

Veran needed to show that its SPiN System could help pulmonologists get the answers they needed to diagnose lung cancer. StoneArch transformed Veran’s identity from scrappy start-up to technology leader by helping them streamline their story and creating an immersive online experience that showcased the system’s capabilities. As a result, organic traffic increased 78.9% and time spent on Veran’s enhanced site increased 19%.

For Medela, launching their first smart breast pump, Sonata, meant targeting millennial moms already saturated with connectivity messages. To break through, StoneArch focused heavily on social and video content. Within only two months of launch, Medela doubled its annual e-commerce sales goal for Sonata, and received 1.6 million video views and 14 million social impressions.

As a part of an annual pro bono effort, StoneArch helped One Heartland find its true identity. Created in 1993 as a camp for kids affected by HIV/AIDS, the organization had expanded its mission and focus to also help kids facing intolerance and social isolation. By crafting a story beyond a camp experience and framing One Heartland as a welcoming, bully-free environment where children, youth and young adults can feel completely accepted for who they are, often for the first time in their lives—the rebrand was able to increase new donors by 10% in just one year.

In addition to the IMPACT awards, the agency’s work for Medela and Veran was also recognized at the Medical Marketing and Media (MM&M) Awards in September. Medela Sonata won Gold in the Best Multichannel Campaign category; Veran won Silver in the Best Branded Website for Professionals category.
