CINCINNATI, Ohio (July 10, 2023) — Nick Brunker has been appointed lead of VMLY&R Cincinnati. He will be responsible for driving the growth and vitality of the agency through the expansion of its client portfolio, in addition to overseeing the Cincinnati operation. He will report to Eric Campbell, global president, VMLY&R.
Brunker is a Forrester customer experience (CX) -certified professional with a versatile portfolio, including more than a decade of discipline in human-centered experience strategy, insight-based digital transformation, ecommerce and omnichannel planning. Throughout his tenure with VMLY&R, he has partnered with various Fortune 500 clients across numerous sectors, across the agency’s client portfolio.
Brunker has collaborated with senior leaders to drive strategic alignment, push thinking into action, and architect CX measurement frameworks to achieve customer and business objectives. Additionally, he has been actively expanding the agency’s industry footprint through thought leadership and IP development, including the launch of VMLY&R’s first-ever customer experience podcast, “Human Centered.”
Additionally, as a leader of VMLY&R’s CX practice, Brunker is responsible for cultivating a deep understanding of customer motivations and business needs to deliver best-in-class experiences for our clients — and, as importantly, the people they serve.
Brunker will continue to grow the VMLY&R experience strategy and CX footprint through thought leadership and IP development and work closely with the interaction design, visual design, search, and technology team members to ensure alignment and provide input.

Brunker has been recognized on numerous occasions for his contributions during his career, including Cincinnati Business Courier Forty Under 40 Nominee (2021-22) and multiple Cincinnati PRSA Blacksmith Awards.
