A veteran of Bay Area shops EVB and Venables Bell & Partners, Newaskar will lead strategic efforts on Energizer, Del Taco and RE/MAX
SAN FRANCISCO – Camp + King (C+K) has appointed Neeti Newaskar as group strategy director. Her first day at the agency was Jan. 2, 2020, and she will focus on Energizer, Del Taco and RE/MAX.
Newaskar previously led the strategy team at Evolution Bureau (EVB). During her five-year tenure there, she worked on marquee accounts Jameson Irish Whiskey, helping it become one of the dominant spirits brands on social; and Panda Express, working to fuel fandom through social and experiential activations. Other clients included Kraft Foods, introducing Swedish Gevalia coffee to the U.S.; Delicato Family Vineyards, helping Bota Box reach millennials; and Del Monte, reintroducing iconic 9Lives “spokescat” Morris, driving consumer engagement around Milk-Bone’s corporate responsibility efforts, and activating fanatical cat lovers for Meow Mix.
Prior to leading strategy at EVB, Newaskar was senior brand strategist at Venables Bell & Partners, where she led strategic efforts on ConAgra Foods brands, including Healthy Choice, Orville Redenbacher and Lightlife. At Venables, Newaskar tackled a wide array of brand challenges such as repositioning Healthy Choice in a declining frozen foods category, expanding Orville Redenbacher’s usage occasion beyond the movie night, and launching Lightlife’s first digital campaign aimed at vegetarians and vegans.
