LGA NAMES GLEN HILZINGER NEW CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER

Veteran of Leo Burnett, Doner and JWT says he’s excited to infuse new creative spark into one of the Southeast’s most-respected independent agencies

CHARLOTTE, N.C., (Oct. 10, 2019) – Glen Hilzinger, whose accolades include being named one of the Most Creative People in Advertising by Business Insider and one of the Top 10 Copywriters in the World By Ad Age’s Creativity, will become chief creative officer at Charlotte’s Luquire George Andrews (LGA), one of the Southeast’s leading independent communication agencies.

He joins from Leo Burnett in Detroit, where he served eight years as SVP/Integrated Group Creative Director overseeing the work of 30 creatives on accounts including General Motors and the NCAA. Previously Hilzinger spent 13 years with Doner in Detroit, where his work included campaigns for Amazon, Expedia, U.S. Cellular, UPS Stores, Minute Maid, PetSmart, Arby’s and Coca-Cola. Prior to that he worked on the Ford Motor Co. business in the Detroit office of JWT.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have an individual with Glen’s unbridled approach to creativity leading our integrated team of thinkers and idea generators,” said LGA co-founder and CEO Steve Luquire. “His body of work is unparalleled in this region, including award-winning campaigns that have been recognized at the highest level of our industry. We can’t wait for Glen to join our team.”

Hilzinger’s work has earned accolades in top award competitions including Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clios, Effies and London International Awards. A common thread: disarmingly clever ideas that generate the kind of attention you can’t always get with a straight-up ad buy.
