Winston-Salem Based Advertising Agency and Its Local Clients in International Spotlight

wildfireWildfire, a digitally driven, fully integrated marketing company, is earning international attention in two major publications for designs for Winston-Salem based companies. This month, Wildfire’s Football Playbook Direct Mail piece for Wake Forest Athletics will be published in Communication Arts, reaching over 60,000 creative professionals from around the world along with packaging for Dewey’s Bakery that will be published in Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best: Packaging Design Worldwide 2010–11 that reaches 152,000 of the most relevant advertising people all over the world.

Communications Arts (CA), a highly respected creative publication that recognizes the best and most creative in the advertising industry, highlighted Wildfire’s recent creative work for Wake Forest Athletics Football. This will be the third time this year that CA has featured work from Wildfire. The Direct Mail piece will be featured in the upcoming 2010 Advertising Annual. Since 1959, Communication Arts has published the best in visual communications from around the world. To find the best work, CA sponsors creative competitions that recognize the finest talent in the industry. Winners are selected by juries of their peers and published in their annuals.

In addition, Wildfire’s packaging design for Dewey’s Bakery and Bee Alert will be featured in the Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best: Packaging Design Worldwide 2010–11 issue. The 248-page volume showcases examples of the best international work done in the field of packaging design. A jury selected the best work from 4,732 submissions received from 55 countries. 200 Best: Packaging Design Worldwide is not only an extensive source of ideas for all those involved in packaging design but also an honor for marketers seeking designers that are able to extract that added value from a product.

“Acknowledgement from publications such as Communication Arts and Lürzer’s Archive is the pinnacle of creative recognition within our industry, especially when your work is showcased in the special edition issues” says Mike Grice, Chief Creative Officer of Wildfire. “However, our main goal with everything we do is to generate greater sales, so if we can do that plus get acknowledgement from our creative peers then we’ve truly done our best work.”
